NAMI Basics OnDemand Available to Parents and Caregivers OnlineWe are excited to announce NAMI Basics OnDemand is now available to parents and caregivers at basics.nami.org!
Based on NAMI’s Family to Family, the evidence-based education program available for over 20 years which has transformed the lives of many family members, NAMI BASICS is focused on parents/caregivers of children under the age of 22. Bringing this important resource to online access rather than requiring in-person attendance is a major development in helping people who strive daily to provide optimal care for their children with mental illnesses.
NAMI Basics OnDemand was created in response to the outpouring of requests by parents and caregivers for a program option that doesn’t require in person attendance. The OnDemand format gives participants an opportunity to get engaged with NAMI programs who otherwise may not be able to participate in their communities.
